About The Good Soap
Who are we and why choose your bars from The Good Soap?
This year The Good Soap celebrates our 6th year in business. The Good Soap is a local company with a global message, we want customers to ditch products contained in plastic, by replacing with our great quality and affordable plastic free replacements. All of our items are developed by us to our own unique recipes, and then once certified are handmade in our pretty garden workshop in Deganwy, North Wales, overlooking Conwy Castle. All products are artificial chemical free, all are good for your hair and skin. It is extremely important to us that our products are cruelty free, absolutely no ingredients that are tested on animals are included in The Good Soap products, we don't use palm oil.
We are a team of 3, Dawn Rhodes is the owner, business manager and product development manager, Michelle is chief product maker and Gemma is in charge of getting customer parcels sent out efficiently. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service. Dawn and Michelle have been best friends since primary school and Dawn and Gemma are sisters.

The Good Soap policy is never to use plastic packaging as containers for our products, we use recycled and compostable materials in our packaging as much as possible. Sometimes this can be a challenge, especially when choosing the packaging for the solid deodorant bars and moisturiser bars which are oil based products ;) We send out hundreds of parcels a month across the UK and sometimes further and like to think that we are playing our part not only in reducing plastic but also in reducing the amount of artificial chemicals customers use on their skin.
